Our Mission
Sri Vijaya Lakshmi Gow Samrakshana Trust is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting abandoned desi cows. Located on SH 106, 17km from Thiruthani towards Podaturpet, our goshala provides a safe haven for cows that have been abandoned by their owners, often after they stop giving milk.
Currently, we are caring for around 100 Gow matas, treating them with the respect and dignity they deserve in our Indian tradition. Our 8-acre facility provides green pastures for grazing and proper shelter for all our rescued cows.
This Gowshala is maintained and run by Saints and Veda Pandits who are deeply committed to the protection of these sacred animals. The esteemed Sri Shivananda Swamigal Guru Parampara is in charge of this Gowshala, continuing the sacred tradition of cow protection and ensuring that our activities align with Vedic principles.
