The Sacred Beings We Protect
At Sri Vijaya Lakshmi Gow Samrakshana Trust, we currently shelter and care for more than 100 cows. Most of these cows were abandoned by their owners after they stopped giving milk or became old. Many were rescued from roads where they were vulnerable to accidents or from falling into the hands of butchers.
According to our ancient texts, the cow is sacred and considered the mother of the universe. Our goshala is dedicated to protecting these divine beings and providing them with dignity and care for their entire lifetime.
